See awesome Physics demos!

Meet and greet other Physics teachers at the Demo Show!

Don't miss this opportunity for a fun Physics evening!

The Demo Show will have NJAAPT members presenting demos, plus our featured demonstrator, Rich Tillwilliger, retired Physics Teacher from NY.  Rich presented some of his Physics resources at the Regional AAPT Meeting last November, and will also be running a make & take circuit workshop with NJAAPT in April.  Rich has many ideas and resources to share with Physics teachers!

5:00 - 6:00  Sign-in, light refreshments

6:00 - 9:30 (approx)    Demo Show

The demo show will take place at Georgian Court University located in Lakewood NJ. Yes, it's a bit of a drive, but carpool with someone, and you'll be glad you went!!

We will meet in Jeffries Hall, Room 165.  Campus map is here.        Jeffries Hall is #2, upper right on map, near Parking A.

Proceed through the main gate. Once on campus, continue to Jeffries Hall, which will be the first building on the right. There is a parking lot adjacent to the building.  It is suggested that you proceed to the back of the building (all the way to the right) and park there and then enter the building from the back.  The meeting will be held on the ground floor as you enter, in Room 165 Jeffries Hall.

Registration is open for members only.  The cost of this event will be $10 for members, to defray expenses.  Members are also welcome to bring guests for a cost of $10 each.

If you wish to show a couple of demos, the registration form has a question that will allow you provide a few words describing any demonstration that you plan to bring.  This will allow us to organize the event.

This year we will use the following procedure:

Each demonstrator from the audience will be allowed to present two demos for a total time of 10 minutes. This way all presenters will have the opportunity to present.  Once presenters from the audience have had a chance to present, we will take a short break.  Afterwards, Rich Terwilliger, our featured presenter, will present a variety of his favorite demos for about 45 minutes.  We will then take another short break. We then have the option for members of the audience or Rich to present additional demos until 9:30.

We look forward to seeing you at the event!
