In the ever-evolving landscape of physics education, harnessing the power of AI can revolutionize the way we teach and engage with our students.   This technology provides great opportunities for enhancing our teaching practice and providing students with new modalities for learning.   However, there are some significant concerns:  including giving students a work-around to solving problems on their own and providing wrong physics answers, at both the conceptual and analytical level.

Spend a Saturday morning with your fellow Physics teaching colleagues learning about this new technology and sharing opportunities and concerns.

** Everyone attending should bring a laptop.

Workshop Highlights:

- Demystifying AI: Understand the basics of Artificial Intelligence and its potential applications in Physics education.

- AI Tools that students can/will use to answer physics problems.  Hint: Many of them are already using these tools.

- Adaptive Learning: Learn how AI can assist in tailoring learning experiences to individual student needs, fostering personalized growth.

- Student Engagement: Find out how AI can captivate students' attention

Coffee and refreshments will be provided.  The cost will be $5.
