We are thrilled to invite you to a dynamic event dedicated to enhancing the teaching of momentum and related topics. (Collisions, explosions, center of mass, impulse, conservation of momentum, etc.) Join us for a day of collaborative learning, insightful discussions, and hands-on experiences that will energize your physics classroom.
We will target this discussion to be relevant for all levels of physics teaching.
This is a sharing event in which the participants will be encouraged (but not required) to present any teaching strategies or materials that they use when teaching this topic. Teachers will also be invited to discuss their biggest hurdles when teaching this material.
Labs and Demos will be setup in the classroom and teachers will have an opportunity to experiment with these. Labs will be presented with a variety of lab equipment so that teachers can find the approach that works best for their classes and districts.
Networking Opportunities: Connect with fellow physics teachers to exchange ideas, concerns, and successes.
