Physics Olympics: Clarification of Gravity Vehicle Stopping Rules

    According to the rule "The stopping mechanism must work automatically and be contained completely within the vehicle", the vehicle can not be designed to use parts dragging on the floor or the floor's frictional force on the falling mass to stop. This means the only part of the moving vehicle in contact with the floor as it decelerates to a stop should be the wheels.
