Physics Olympics 2024 Updates

    Earlybird registration for Physics Olympics 2024 ends on November 30th, 2023. Note that the deadline for earlybird registration was changed from Sunday, December 3rd to Thursday, November 30th, for planning purposes.

    The deadline for asking questions regarding event rules is Saturday, November 18, 2023.

    Remember to check updated event rules!

    See updated rules for event 4, Inertia Ball. Revised rules include clarifications for what counts as the “course” of the bowling ball and what counts as the ball being “out of bounds”. The bowling ball used during the competition will be somewhere between 6 and 14 lbs.

    Spectacular job all students! Your months of dedication and hard work showed during the competition.

    Special acknowledgement to Bayonne High School for hosting the North Physics Olympics,  Jim Ferrara and Daniel Kaplan for developing the Fermi Questions, and the instructors who judged the events. 

    Congratulations to the winning teams of the 2024 Physics Olympics Competition! The results are published on the website now.
